Careless or Careful

-My sinuses are driving me crazy!
-I want to go on vacation
-I am on edge today in hopes of writing will make me feel better
-I'm running 4 miles today
-Can go for some yoga too hmmmmm..
-Wish it wasn't too cold to run outside although I've seen people doing it anyways
-Work, work, work! Isn't there more to life than just work!
-Don't get me wrong, thankful to have a j.o.b. but I need to balance it out with a real relaxation break
-Guess I gotta make. it. happen.
-I have two other things on the horizon that I WILL accomplish
-Workin' on it
-Erykah's new cd is pretty fantastic-can't get Window Seat outta my mind
-Had a convo with my sis this weekend about life in general & responsibility
-I mean life is short and at the end of the day, this ish doesn't really matter- all the worrying, stressing, running here & there..for what!?
-We'll all be gone from this material plane in 70 years.
-That's if the world will even sustain that long
-This world is not our home...we're just a passing through..our treasures are laid out..somewhere beyond the blue
-I'd still like to replinish the earth w/ my contribution of 3 children
-I have their names and have pretty much given birth-in my head, that is:)
-Ok let me get some work done!

Fishing For Nets

I guess it's practically out of season to wear fishnets..but is it really? Now if you live in the Midwest..it isn't! But if it gets too hot, then yes, who really wants to walk around with hosiery on..one wants to be free, right? So depending on how you look at it, I'm still posting my love of fishnets as I will break 'em out again in say...like 5 months!

Picture This..

I've always wanted to do a wall of frames in my home. I wasn't sure if there was some sort of theme I needed to model off of so that each frame would compliment one another. However, these photos I've recently encountered gave me inspiration that there are really no rules and to simply think outside of the box.

What a hip space to have while working the day job. Lovin' that Jimi Hendrix piece.


Here we have some black/white & color images with mostly black frames. What a difference a framed picture makes- this sleek and clean white space pops.

Love a loft space and look at that staircase with the little photos or magnets or both! Contemporary, yet modern.



Not feeling the framed pictures? Well, there are always mirrors.


I really love the couch in this photo here. I'm such a sucker for mircrofiber & velvet furniture...but that's another post!

Typical Mornings

Alarm goes off at 6:45am. I press the snooze button. Another 10 minutes go by and I snooze the alarm again. This goes on for about 30 minutes. I finally rise, cut the alarm completely off and head into the kitchen.

I boil water for my lovely cup of tea because that's all I pretty much have time for in the morning. After my shower, I put my makeup on while I think about what I'm going to wear to work that day. Unfortunately, I don't pick out my clothes the night before because I'm indecisive and well, very last minute too. :-)

While I'm getting dressed, I have the tv going, flippin' back/forth to the weather channel & listening out for the forecast or checking out the morning episode of the Wendy Williams show.

At this point, I'm checking my email or looking at facebook as well. Now I know I'm spending too much time doing this stuff; however, I manage to still make it out of the house on time. Since my tea should be at room temperature by now, I gulp that down, grab my phone and train card, make sure everything is turned off, take one more glance in the mirror...and I'm off! What's your typical morning routine?
